Last weekend my husband surprised me with a weekend trip to the mountains to look at all the leaves with all their different colors before they all fell off the trees. I love looking at all the different colors of the leaves and unlike in the past he was actually able to keep this a secret and surprise me with it!

However, once we got to our hotel in the mountains, it was pouring down rain and there was even a flood watch, so we just ate at the hotel’s restaurant and stayed in the first night.
